If you’ve been nominated as a Legacy User, you’ll receive a prompt to download the Foundation app on your mobile device. Setting up your account is a necessary step—even if you don’t intend to use Foundation for your own purposes. This setup ensures that you are properly linked to the Legacy recovery process and that access can be securely transferred to you if needed.
Steps to Get Started:
Download the Foundation app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
Create your account by following the on-screen instructions.
Once your account is set up, no further action is required—unless a recovery event occurs.

What Happens During a Recovery Event?
If the original account owner fails to complete a scheduled check-in, you will receive a notification via both the Foundation app and email.

Once logged in, you will have the ability to recover the wallets that have been securely assigned to you.
